Colorado and Campfires!

Life goes so fast! It seems like I was just getting over with last years Regional Tournament in Seattle, and now here I am packing to head off to Colorado for Regionals! So yeah, instead of sitting here I should be packing, but I am just tired of trying on clothes and meditating over what to wear. I am so excited and ready to compete! I shall be missing all my friends that won't be able to make it, but I will probably be calling them everyday, just so I can talk :)

This may sound weired but the thing that I am most excited about is to finally be able to sleep in a bed! You see for the last 4 months I have been sleeping on the living room couch, and am now so elated about the prospect of sleeping in a bed! Okay, so that sounded very weired, but I am excited about it :) My plan is to make Karissa and Desting share the sofa bed, while I lounge in the big queen sized bed (that probably won't happen, but I can dream about it).

Tonight we had a camp fire with hot dogs and smores! I love my family, and we have some fun times together! I shall miss them.

Anyways, tomorrow we fly! I had better go and make sure my ipod is charged for the plane ride. Love you all and shall keep you updated!

An Exhilarating Day

WOW! Over the past month I have discovered the immense pleasure of jogging on end. Today was Medford, OR biggest athletic event (that's the language that they used), the Pear Blossom Run. A couple of weeks ago I decided to enter the 10 mile run along with some other friends. It was great! I had expected to come out of it felling half dead, but instead I was all pumped, exhilarated and ready for more (well maybe not). The weather was perfect and the countryside beautiful, plus there was great support from practically everyone. Granted about 3 miles into it I was tired, but after I hit 5 miles I got my second-wind!

It was great and everyone did a great job! Even though some us had a cold, others multiple blisters and another had his arm in a sling we had great finishes. After we finished, some us enjoyed a free barbecue and ice cream sandwiches, provided by a friend :)! What a day...it was awesome! You should all start to jog a little everyday, it really does make you feel better!
