It's weird how I can feel so sad and happy at once-sad that the trip is over and happy to be home.
I have been so blessed to be able to go to this conference, and have had a lot of fun with my Dad and cousin David.
When you put two funny guys together, you know your in for one great time. And so I was-Dad and David were constantly making me laugh, and Dad was always making me and David laugh with whatever he said.
One of the funniest things was this-
Dad stays up late and works on his computer, so when me and David went to bed he would still be up. I sleep talk (really...all the time) so the first night dad just said what that I was talking and David couldn't stop laughing, but the next night dad wrote down what I said and that got a real kick out of David and Dad while I just sat there and tried not to laugh. But David just wouldn't stop, he kept going and going and going.
Now here is the good part- David sleeps talked one night too!! And dad wrote it down and I couldn't stop laughing while David just sat there.
So you can see that we had a great time.
After we went to the Biltmore House we drove to the Smokey Mountains and took a train ride through them, the next day. That was very exciting because I had never been on a train. It was so beautiful (the scenery). It was like a jungle, you could see Tarzan swinging on the vines, and one would expect King Kong to jump out of the trees any minute.
I love to take pics of scenery and took 200 of just trees and stuff-dad said it was 200 pics of green stuff (but he really liked them).
Here are some-
It really has been a wonderful week. Being able to see more of God's unique wonderful creation. When one sees the beauty of this world, one cannot deny the existence of a sovereign, orderly, omnipotent God- as is said in Rom.1:19- "Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools..."
There's some stuff in their that I've learned from the conference and I'll write all about that later.
See ya!
