The Day of the Birth

Here is how it went-
Saturday night we all enjoyed a wonderful Sabbath meal prepared by our Grandma (Mummu is what we call her). We even had a "birthday cake", Of course we didn't know he was coming that very next day.

Enjoying some homemade lemonade

This was her last night as the baby of the family. Now she has joined the club of Older Sisters.

At 11:30 it started. We were all in bed, and at 3am Me, Karissa and Mummu all woke up. The baby arrived about 2 and a half hours later. I called all the moms who wanted to be there right away and they came not to late afterwards. Then I ran through the hallway yelling "its a boy" waking all the kids at like 6am. Then we just hanged around and called out names, watched him be weighed and so on.

A proud Mummu
Looking at name books and the baby

The first time mom got to hold him. Doesn't she look great for just having a baby :)
And a proud daddy, who was moms greatest comforterer through it all-I love them both so much.

God is so wonderful. Through the whole labor I was praying and trusting, knowing that God would work all things out for good, and for His glory.
Before all this had happened I had written a verse on our white board, knowing it was perfect for the time being-Ps.18:1-2

"I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;"

Thank you everyone for your prayers and congratulations.
